Reginald Kerr Granville was a member of the Nigerian Coast Protectorate until 1903. It is unsure whether he was part of the British Military Campaign on Benin in February 1897 or if he arrived in the city later on. He is also the author and/or former owner of a number of photographs of the colonial expedition kept at the Pitt Rivers Museum.
