Description

Emil Storrer was one of the most important dealers in African art in Switzerland. He was closely associated with the Rietberg Museum. Together with the then director, Elsy Leuzinger, he travelled to West Africa in the early 1950s and was a member of the Rietberg Museum's acquisition committee from 1958 to 1988. He regularly sold art objects to the Museum.
