Description

Sometimes spelt Seath. Commander Sneath was cited and thanked by H. H. Rawson in a report published in the London Gazette as his secretary’s clerk during the British Military Campaign on Benin (Rawson, 1897, 2519[129]). The only object he is known to have collected is an ivory Okpia (Male Figure) which was purchased by the British Museum from Katherine Dwight.
