Bronze ornamental cast bronze mask, representing a human face, surrounded by a border of small rings. The face also has a line of six tribal marks across the forehead. Masks such as this were worn by high ranking officials or chiefs in Benin attached to the bunched cloth of the wrapper on the left hip as part of ceremonial attire.
