Probably a carved wooden stool rather than a small table. The top is carved in relief with the figure of the Oba and attendants. Leg designs include Nigerian figures holding guns, an eben sword, climbing a palm and a planatain trees and a European holding a pith helmet. A snake attacking a horned animal on the rear cross bar and a Nigerian figure being eaten by a crocodile on the legs. The top, legs and cross bars are inserted using mortise and tenon joints rather than glued and one leg is loose and has been glued back in previously. Little evidence of use apart from water damage on feet and stool top
