Access to archival documents is a pivotal expansion from the catalogue. Just as the historic Benin objects are dispersed across institutions globally, so are the relevant archival materials. Although not comprehensive, these documents are identified and brought together by Digital Benin, and selected for their relevance to the study of the historic objects and the history of the Benin Kingdom.
