Reply to BG_ARM_7_1_1 (13) from Lord Inglewood stating, ‘Artefacts which were acquired in Africa during the late 19th and early 20th centuries are an entirely different matter. They are the legitimate property of the present owners and the Government has no powers to order their return’.
