This song reflects on the period of the Ogiso kings and says that this land has been occupied since time immemorial. It mentions some of the kings like Ogiso Igodo, Ogiso Oriagba, Emose, Ohuode and Ogiso Owodo – the father of Ikaladeran, who went to Uhe. But it laments the absence of Ikaladeran from Benin Kingdom, saying that there has been neither rain nor sunshine since he was banished from the land.
